Lemox®

This is a hybrid of lemon obtained by crossing between the hybrid 1952-36B-69 (x Pear Lemon Femminello Commendatore) and the lemon double Lentini. This too has been made and patented by researchers at CRA-ISAGRU of Acireale (CT) Reforgiato Giuseppe Recupero, Giuseppe Russo and Santo Recupero.La plant is of medium development, vegetative habitus foam plugs and presents medium dimensioniLe outstanding features of Lemox ® are the lack of seeds (with pollen sterility thus does not induce the formation of seeds in the fruits of other cultivars of citrus fruits) and its very early ripening. The collection started up in late September, when most of the fruits – of elliptical shape and fine-grained skin yellow when ripe – reach a weight of 120 g.
