Spinoso
The cultivar is a selection Clementine Spinoso isolated in 1988 at the company Metaponto Pantanello FTA. The Thorny plant has a medium vigor and a dense canopy and erect. The plugs are present in the most vigorous branches but fade in the apical branches. The fruit is oblate-spheroidal shape flatter than clementines “Commune”, the draft shows small scar and slightly open. The skin is orange, the flesh is moderately juicy, average fruit weight 80 g. Absence of seeds. The vesting period can be placed around mid-October after the Caffin.
