Tardivo

The Clementine Tardivo originated from a spontaneous bud mutation of clementines “Common”. The plant is moderately erect growing habit and medium vigor. The leaves are larger than those of clementines “Common” but green is less intense. The bark of the trunk and branches have a distinctive dark color. Flowering compared to clementines “Common” is less abundant. The fruit is good sized, seedless and sub-spherical, slightly flattened at the poles. The stalk is rather robust, the skin is fine-grained and intense orange color. Absence of seeds. The maturation takes place between January and February.
